A message to our patients about COVID-19

We would like to inform you that due to the COVID-19 outbreak we have currently suspended all non-essential dental services. We are following the latest professional guidelines and the government guidelines on the provision of dental services.

This is a not a decision we have taken lightly but we feel it is our responsibility to protect you, our valued patients, our team and our families.

We will be maintaining a telephone service for advice only. We will be seeing strictly triaged emergencies only; some emergencies may need to be referred to designated centres who have been provided with the required personal protective equipment.

An emergency is classed as:

Severe pain for over 48 hours
Facial Swelling
Trauma or uncontrolled bleeding

If you have any of the above symptoms, please call 07471 067052 OR 07776 140433 between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday

After 5pm please call NHS Direct on 111

At weekends, please call the on call dental service on 01276 502909

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE AT THE PRACTICE UNANNOUNCED.

Less urgent enquires can also be emailed to info@Winchesterhousedental.co.uk

We understand this is inconvenient and it may mean that treatment timelines are extended. We will be able to catch up all planned dentistry when it is safe to do so.

If your appointment needs to be postponed then one of our team will be in touch. I would ask that you treat the team with respect. We are doing our best in a difficult situation.

We will review the situation over the next few weeks and let you know as the advice changes.
